Fine art photographer Harriet Blum lived in the New Orleans area for 44 years and developed a recognizable style, often described as "romantic peacefulness", "ethereal" and "dreamy". Her hand-tinted work was created using an older-model Nikon camera and infrared film. Her primary hand-tinted subjects are trees and landscapes. She developed the film and printed the images herself, then hand-tinted each original using transparent oils.

Harriet moved to Ormond Beach, Florida in 2015 and now works with a digital camera, capturing the local beaches, tropical vegetation and whatever else gets her attention. Harriet's art is available on photographic paper or canvas, wall murals and outdoor banners in many sizes. She is now printing her images on shower curtains and pillows available through her ETSY shop. Custom orders and commissions are welcomed.
